= The Scorpion knocked down box-office records for April and took in $36.2 million for a No. 1 weekend debut. This surpassed opening April weekend for the Matrix in 1999 which only took in 27 million. It stayed two weeks at No. 1 before be pushed to No 2 on May 3rd weekend by Spiderman....Worldwide as of May..it has grossed over $145 million...

= Will be doing an MGM remake of the 1970's classic movie "Walking Tall" which originally starred Joe Don Baker as Sheriff Bufford Pusser. Dwayne will be doing the modern day verson of the movie which is in pre-production and should begin shooting in June. The name of the character will be changed, he will not be Bufford Pusser in the movie but the story will remain the same. Dwayne will play a Tennessee sheriff who's returns from military duty with a one-man mission to remove corruption from his county!

= Attached to star in "Gridiron Gang movie...The film, based on a true story, follows teenagers at a youth probation center in Los Angeles who gain confidence when their counselor puts them on a football team.

= During visit to Apia, Samoa with mother Ata, Dwayne was given the chiefly title of "Seiuli Kuegi" by the Prime Minister, Hon Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi of Samoa. Dwayne is now known in Samoa as "Seuili Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson".....He will also carry the title of will carry the title of the "Son of Malietoa", which means the son of a king..

= Teamed up with Fisher-Price at the Miami Science Museum to unveil Fisher-Price's Planet Heroes, an exciting new action figure line that introduces preschoolers to the planets in the solar system





= Featured in the new Nina Davenport documentary "Operation Filmmaker" which follows 25 year old Iraqi film student Muthana Mohmed, who is brought to work as a Production Assistant on the set of actor turned first-time director Liev Shrieber's first film in Prague after Shrieber learns of Mohmed, who's film school has been destroyed in a Baghdad bombing.

The Game Plan debuted in the #1 at the box office bringing in a first week total of $22.7 million. This marks his 6th movie to reach #1 and all 8 movies he has been in so far have debuted in the Top 3 at the box office....

The Game Plan remained the #1 spot on the box office charts for two weeks straight during the weekend of October 5-7, beating out Ben Stiller's "The Heartbreak Kid"......

Donated $1 million to the athletic program at the University of Miami
